Day 95 Ushuaia: museum
It is raining this morning. Therefor we walk to the Navy base where there is the old penitentiary that is now a museum. It has many old pictures of the town and looks very wet, cold and muddy.
Also in the museum is a very nice collection of the old sailing ships that explored this region and developed it.
Upstairs is a nice exhibit on the Antarctica explorers and especially the Belgian Baron de Gerlacke that explored the peninsula with a truly famous crew. Adrien de Gerlache · CAPTAIN ANTARCTICA
In the afternoon Patrick works on boxing the bikes while Rachel helps ans wipes most of the collected dust and mud of South America off the chains and bike.
