Day 7 Camping Puerta del Paraiso: Along the Rio Claro
30km south of Aurico
Back on Pan America, continuing to head south. It's a beautiful morning, but we had a bad night sleep…below our hotel room, somebody had an outside party till early this morning. We start going as far as Curico, exit the highway and look for downtown. The city has a very nice plaza des armas. We have lunch there, do some shopping in the supermarket and locate the Chile AAA for some brochures. None are very usable.

We decide to go another 30km to the next campground along the Pan America. It is very nicely situated amongst eucalyptus and pine trees along the Rio Claro. We are the only guests when we arrive at 1600.
