Day 129 Rest Day in Salta: seeing the market
We had planned to go on today, but this morning is dreary and overcast. We don't feel like catching rain on our first day out so we decide to stay one more day.
There is more to see in Salta and we can mail a package home too. We visit the market and get a box to pack up Patrick's treasures of license plates from Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, and T-shirts from Iguazu and the Argentina Lonely Planet guidebook. We photocopied the few remaining pages we still need.

At the post office we are disappointed; there needs a customs check and they only do that from 8 to 11 in the morning. We will have to carry the stuff to Jujuy and try again.
The Chinese place is open again tonight for dinner.
