Day 122 Caacupe: the Basilica most important religious center
At 1am we are awakened by the hotel lady pounding on the door, "Senor, Senor". She wanted us to move our bikes and pointed to the room next to us. We brought the bikes into our room, we could only guess she was concerned about the bikes and didn't trust the people next door.

Patrick is not feeling well still. The vegetation is more tropical. It's hot and thunderstorms are building. The cycling is the same. Now the small towns we notice have more groups of men just hanging out. We arrive in Caacupe again before the rains.
Caacupe is Paraguay's most important religious center. The Basilica de Nuestra Senora de Los Milagros dominates the town.
We find Hospedaje Uraguayo a few blocks away. Again, there is a garden courtyard. We have air conditioning, TV (more movies). Later we walk around find a place to eat, chicken and rice that wasn't very tasty.
Today's ride: 79 km (49 miles)
Total: 4,046 km (2,513 miles)
