to Resita: three big hills
The weather report for today was for more rain, but the morning was beautiful. We have 3 big hills today, but first we have a gradual downhill and Patrick says, "if it's going to rain, it better start building". Then the hills are just how we like them. The grade is just right to get into a rhythm and tackle the switchbacks. We make excellent time and just as we reach Resita and our hotel, the rain starts. It's the best when the hotel has an elevator!! We shuttle the gear up quickly to the room and the bikes are stored in a secure spot.
