to Brno: across the Moravia Highlands

"It's going to hurt when we have to start pedaling again", says Rachel. Out of Borova was a short climb up into the woodlands....then 5 km downhill to the follow the Svratka River.

And then it hurt. The anticipation of following a river downstream quickly becomes a different reality than following rivers such as the Mosel and Rhine. Each town we went through represented a downhill into the town and a steep climb out of the town. We must have angered the Wind of Beer last night when we talked about maybe having some wine.....we had a strong headwind most of the day. All this was rewarded with beautiful countryside

Lunch break in a village. The cherry tree blossoms "snow" on us.

Arrived in the center of Brno. We email our warmshowers host from the McDonalds and about 20 minutes later he picks us up.
