Even though we've done many tours before, sometimes it feels the next one is just not the same in organizing. What decisions are different between a shorter 3 month tour or 5 months or 2 years? 

Our upcoming tour, Scandinavia and the Baltics begins July 2 in Stockholm returning to Stockholm and home in Boise Sept 29th. This journal is also in that journal we the thought that someone might be interested in only cycling Oregon's Scenic Bikeways.

 So we decided to do a Shakedown and Training ride in Oregon. There are many bikeway loops Oregon Scenic Bikeways. We are modifing the Grand Tour Scenic Bikeway Route. 

We have been doing spin classes twice a week and with good weather riding a 19 mile loop in Boise. Wenda from our spin class is also going along. She has done organized rides but wants to learn to do solo touring.

We drive to Baker City and have arranged to stay at the Churchill School Bike Hostel, and we will be able to leave our cars here for the 5 days.
