Day 137: Beverly Back to Boston
Last day in Massachusetts
The same morning routine: Tony has fixed us all coffee, we each find our own breakfast and then we visit before Tony leaves for work. We are becoming familiar with the train system and find out that there is a senior discount: half price tickets!
After we arrive at North Station we walk around Beacon Hill looking at the architecture, see the Cheers Café but decide not to stand in line to go inside. We walk through the “commons” park to see the ducks, then roam around the shopping area once more. Our attempt to find China Town takes a bit longer and is a little disappointing. On our way back to North Station we visit Faneuil Hall. From the tourist brochure: “Faneuil Hall, first built in 1742 and on the site of the Old Town dock. Meetings held here between 1764 and 1774, heard Samuel Adams and others lead cries of protest against the imposition of taxes on the colonies. The building was later enlarged in 1806. Market stalls on the first floor service much as they did in Paul Revere’s day.”
We catch the T-line back to Beverly and take Tony out for Indian food. Tomorrow we fly to Amsterdam.

We are creating a page of the people we met along the way, including the picture of you and your group. Would you be so kind to give me names (first names only if that is preferred) to add to the pictures?
The page will be published soon.
