Day 72: Rest Day in Ohrid
Sightseeing and Bike Repair
We are up early even on a rest day. We eat cereal and wait until about 930am to walk into the center to look for a second breakfast. After walking down the pedestrian street and finding nothing, we return to the Irish Pub. We had noticed there was breakfast on the menu.
Patrick has Bacon and Eggs, Rachel a Ham Omelet.
We head out to see the sights: walking through Old Town, Church of St. Sophia, Ancient Macedonian Theater, Medieval Church of Saints Clement and Panteleimon, Fortress and the Upper Gate to the Fortress

After the sightseeing, we return to the hotel. Patrick rips up his bike shorts to clean the chains. He finds the sprockets on the freewheel are loose. We've walked past a bike shop several times on our way to the city center. He quickly takes the wheel to the small bike shop where he is able to tighten it up.

We hear from Chuck about Crossing borders between Kosovo and Serbia.
“You can’t pedal into Serbia from Kosovo if you entered Kosovo at a non-Serbian border crossing. The Serbian rule. You have to pedal Serbia into Kosovo, in order to pedal out of Kosovo at a Serbian border checkpoint.”
