Day 123: Flight to Home

Up early to drive to Linda and Marco’s for them to drive us to Amsterdam. Overnight was a threat of rain, it had not rained in Ossendrecht for about a month.
We arrive at airport by 7am. The check in line is slow and by the time we are at the front the line has grown significantly. The bike boxes are accepted at the oversize counter and not weighed, nor do we have to open the boxes for inspection. We each are lugging a heavy back pannier as carryon luggage, included in this are the beer glasses from Kosovo and Dutch cookies.
The security line too is different, only removing belts and emptying pockets, jackets and scarves off. Electronics stay in the bags. We are through immigration quickly with a self-scanning of passport and photo. Our passports are flagged to get an exit stamp. We are under the 90 days allowed; however it is something we need to be mindful of if our plans for September pan out. For this will include a return visit to Holland for Patrick to visit Oma.
