Day 12 Drive from Flaming Gorge to Boise ID

What now?

So much to process. We know this was the correct decision to not continue on the Great Divide. But what does it mean now moving forward? Are we really not able to tour anymore? There's a sense of feeling defeated.

Rachel recognizes she has been able to do the riding because Patrick being a young buck could take up the slack. Now at 56 it's harder for him, and Rachel a few months shy of 72, we start to doubt what is in our future.

Cycle touring is so much of who we are. We'll adapt.

Rachael AndersonYou will definitely adapt like we have and it will be great! I can’t believe you will able to keep doing the very challenging tours you have been doing so long. Scott and I have really enjoyed slowing down our pace and staying places longer.
