Countdown: Frans and Petra arrive from Holland

And the making of future bikepackers!

When we rode the Weiser River Trail a few weekends back, we met Danny and Pete. After hearing our stories about Warmshowers.org, Danny was excited to join and then suggested to take his two kids (4 and 7) on a "bikepacking" ride in town and camp in our yard. Pete also wanted to join with his two kids. The date is set for 5/21!

Danny with his two kids and wife Sara arrived around 5pm. And soon Pete and kids. They rode 3.6 miles!

We have a great time with a campfire in the back garden. The neighbor kids join in the fun.

At 10pm, Patrick goes to the airport to pick up Frans and Petra. Everyone else has gone to bed. And soon we all retire.

Frans and Petra flew in from Holland Saturday night and joined in the fun with the Bikepackers. The next day we take a walk in Kathryn Albertson's Park.

We are thinking this would make a great annual event!
