Another great day, despite the uncooperative weather!
After two days with off-and-on rain, the chains needed a little TLC. Neither of us had the energy or desire to do it last night. There wasn’t much room in the bike storage but plenty of space in the plaza outside our hotel.
Shortly after I reached Port de la Creu de Perves, the rain started and stayed with us all the way down. The road surface was very bumpy, it was raining, the views were lovely, so no desire to go too fast.
We stopped for a warming coffee and cake in Senterada.
It was astounding that the N-260, reduced to a single lane through Senterada, would now become a wide (for Spain) two-lane highway with shoulders. But it did, and we zoomed mostly downhill all the way to Tremp.
I didn’t take a photo, but here’s a screenshot from Google Streetview.
