Accommodation: Corte dei Furesi. This place is amazing €45 for a single, €60 for a double. Big rooms, the best sleep I’ve had in Italy, a private garden area, tasting menu quality breakfast, and incredibly helpful hosts.  If you enjoy a little wine touring, spend a few nights here. Seven wineries in this town of 5,000 and many more wineries in close proximity. 

There is a nice, small kitchen shared between the two rooms. A pair of cups of absolutely fresh, perfectly ripe fruit were in the fridge. There was also a good auto espresso machine that used compostable pods.
