The City

Cranford

Today started out on paths

So pretty I kept snapping pictures

Fountain on the left and a soccer game on the right. See the white heron?

Big park system in New Jersey as we headed for Newark

We rode right through Newark

We had a great time. Sunday morning was a good rime to do this

Dog park in Jersey City

These bridges are amazing

Hey what's that up ahead?

Through Jersey city we go

BIg fountain in one of the parks

At the ferry dock in Jersey looking over at the World Trade Center

Riding the ferry over to New York!

Oh My! We rode right over to the trade center.

Then we headed up the bike path into the city.

Penn Station

Time Square

Starbuks was crowded but I got us a coffee to go.

We rode up to Central Park

Step headed over to check out the food

Of course! We had to have a hot dog!

Robert and Veni sat down and talked with us.

We had a great visit. They just walked the 5 mile AIDS walk around Central Park

We rode it on our trusty bicycles

The whole park is carless now

It was a blast

We stopped at WEstmarket just west of the park

Heading up to our warmshowers, we passed this huge church

RIght across from Grant's Tomb

Daniel is our doorman

Rick is our warmshower host. Ann is at work but we will meet her later

Our home for two nights.

Today's ride: 39 miles (63 km)
