Whispering Palms is run by Bob! He has been all overe the world and he is such a nice man. He bicycles himself and was very welcoming. Definitely the place to stay in Del Rio.

And look at this. Fort Clark Springs. This is where I spent three and a half months last ride recovering from a disc herniation in my neck. So fun to come back here.

Security. They were going through a shift change and didn't realize we weren't checked in. We rode on up to the office which was empty. After an hour of sitting around we rode down to the pools and over to where we stayed in 2014/2015, We finally rode back to security and they had everything there for us.

There's no frig in our room but Jeremy in Security gave us a little cooler so we bought ice at the grocery store and lots of salad fixins and we are all set!
