Back into Washington

Portland to Longview, WA

We had such a nice time with Jesse and Jessica last night. Jesse used to own a restaurant and he cooked us up an amazing dinner. Jessica likes to bake and she topped everything off with an amazing apple cobbler ala mode. Yum! Such nice people. I love the warm showers community. Cruise was also a very loving German Shepherd.

The houses were very much like Seattle homes.

We crossed the Burnside bridge and worked our way through NW Portland. Right past the station!

The Johnson Bridge! We've crossed this one for STP a few times! Not today though.

We rode through Scappose, ST Helens and Columbia City. Beautiful day, south winds blowing us north.

Before we knew it, we could see the bridge over to Longview! Up and over we went. Someone even swept the shoulder! It was no problem.

And here we are at Quality Inn. We are Diamond Status now!
