A Walk in the Park

City Park, WWII Museum

Stephen was out the door first thing this morning to go see the WWII museum! Emma and I got going later. We decided to head for lunch!

Saw this carved tree on the way. Thought it looked interesting so we wandered over to get a closer look.

The whole tree was carved.

This is Neyow's Creole Cafe.

We got Gumbo with potato salad. You take a spoon of potato salad and dip it into the gumbo. Very good. Then port chops, carrot souffle and cornbread stuffing. Delicious!

After lunch we headed for City Park to walk it off!

This goose went after Emma!

Typical New Orleans!
