A Short Day

Jarretsville to Elkton

Tom offered to take us across the asusquehanna River so we took him up on it! We loaded up the bikes and bags.

He dropped on off on the east side of the river and off we rode!

The riding was hilly and pretty.

We stopped in Georgetown and read the signs. They kept out of trouble with the British in both the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.

Pretty park down by the North East River in Georgetown.

There's a dock out there you can walk out to.

So much history on the east coast.

Our room in Elkton. Both of us have allergies kicking up and we are sneezing and coughing and tired so we are enjoying a light day of riding. I'm ready for bed and it's only 3ish.
