Oct 9 - Chehalis Western Trail

Another gem in Washington State!
Today we cycled the Chehalis Western Trail from Rainier to the northern trailhead north of Lacey. The trail was a nice, gentle ride through the woods with very little urban riding.
The day did start a little colder than we wanted as we were both wearing cycling pants and multiple layers. But as the day worn on, we shed most of those layers to partly sunny skies.
The ride was not very complicated and no navigation was needed so it was a simply turn the pedals type of day. The ride also made the top 5 list of trails we have done on this trip and is definitely a worthy trail to return to at some future date.
Today's ride: 46 miles (74 km)
Total: 8,527 miles (13,723 km)
