Day 6 - Tucson Recumbent Group Ride
Today we joined the local Facebook Tucson Recumbent Cyclists group for a ride. We met at the Roy Schoonover trailhead and formed a group of 11 cyclists, 9 trikes and 2 2 wheel recumbents. We ended up meeting folks from several states and enjoyed chatting and cycling at the same time.
Lunch was at a local hamburger location and the group somewhat broke up as folks had other commitments after lunch. We ended up extending our ride just a bit for the last ride “home” to our current AirBnB. Tomorrow we venture to AirBnB #2 which happens to be just 7 miles down the road.
The weather was finally perfect for me … shorts, sandals, and short sleeves!
