Day 19 - Oro Valley and Marana
Today was simply good …warm weather, good trails, smooth roads, and a little territory that we haven’t explored before.

Today we headed back up the Oro Valley following a route that the Branhams loaded into RidewithGPS last year. After following the Oro Valley north, we wandered through a few neighborhoods, and then rode our way around until we came back to the Santa Cruz river. At that point, we headed to the northern edge of the Saguara Forest before returning.
All the riding today was wonderful between the trails, the 8-10 foot shoulders, to the dedicated bike paths. This area will need to be explored more as I think we have found something on par with the famed Loop that surrounds Tucson.
Today's ride: 42 miles (68 km)
Total: 1,668 miles (2,684 km)
