April 15 - 21 … Spring has Sprung
Spring in Alaska has Sprung and the outdoor riding season has begun in earnest as I have been able to ride outdoors every day this past week. From looking at past cycling logs, we are right on schedule, not too early, not too late.
It also means that the granddaughters can now ride outside as well which is a joy for me. We did run into one minor bump however as all 4 of them wanted to ride the 1 Half Pint trike at the same time and working out whose turn it was took some serious negotiations for everybody.
So in true “grandparent” mode, I just bought another one and was able to get it quickly. It took about 30 minutes to put together, tweak a few things I learned from the first one, and it is now ready for ride time tomorrow.
So the Lil’ Grasshopper now has a friend. Several possible names have come forth including the Lil’ Strawberry or the Lil’ Chilli Pepper. What do you think? Any other ideas?
