Day 149 - Tuguegarao City, Cagayan to Ilagan City, Isabela
95km of smooth and well-paved roads on mostly flat terrain with gentle rolling hills, that were just too many, from KM.481 Tuguegarao City Rescue 1111 to KM.393 Pakananan Ta Hardin Grill - Ilagan City, where I had dinner with fellow biker, Danny Dela Cruz of Ilagan Mountain Bikers Club, to KM.402 Ilagan City DRRMO - Rescue 1124, where I'll pitch my tent tonight c/o Butch Estavillo. Breakfast at a small roadside eatery in front of Tuguegarao City Hall and original Pancit Cabagan for lunch at KCJM Panciteria - Cabagan, Isabela.
There are only three old churches in the Philippines with circular belfries: those in Mexico, Pampanga; Borongan, Eastern Samar; and this one in Tumauini, Isabela is the most beautiful of them all.
Saint Paul the Apostle Church in San Pablo Isabela, built in 1624, is the oldest church in Isabela Province. Its bell tower is the tallest in the Cagayan Valley Region.
