Old Red Brick Road

After finishing our first ride, I noticed reference to another close by ride and the name intrigued us enough to go take a look.
The Old Red Brick Trail, more the old highway / road dates back to the 1920’s where roads were still made of bricks. In this case, red bricks as the soil in this area is red. No motorized traffic is permitted on this small section of preserved road and the ride really wasn’t that good due to the surface but it was a fun “niche” experience to do a quick ride to experience this part of history. It does parallel a major state highway so definitely not the pleasant country ride but a good memory nonetheless.
