Dunnellon Trail

We must be on a roll as we opted for a second ride today similar to yesterday. We must be sensing our return to a quite cold and frozen land.
The Dunnellon Trail is short but quite the treat as we started where the Withlacoochee Trail ended and this one began. We did, however, have to wait an hour for the passing rain. Although it lowered the temperature, it also left the trail wet so we could enjoy some road grime.
Perhaps the neatest part of this trail is a short section that makes you truly feel as if you are in the jungle. Swamp land on both sides, high draping trees, birds, and a mist hanging in the air. Quite the joy.
Today's ride: 9 miles (14 km)
Total: 643 miles (1,035 km)
