Coastal Trail & Tallahassee St. Marks Combo

After visiting yet another set of family, we headed a bit south to ride the Coastal Trail today. The TrailLink app mentioned some shade and perhaps not a straight path.
The trail was fairly straight but had lots of little twists and turns which made things interesting. The trail also intersects with the Tallahassee St. Marks to head either towards the city or out towards the St. Marks River which eventually gets to the Gulf of Mexico.
St. Marks seems a typical sea side town and we watched a few boats heading up and down the river. As we weren’t done cycling for the day, we then skipped the intersection and rode towards Tallahassee looking for a cold drink and ice cream. Circle K to the rescue.
From there it was simply a follow the trail back to the start and find a hotel for the night. Today was the warmest day we have cycled on this trip and with the higher humidity we felt a bit tropical with the sweat to confirm it.
Today's ride: 37 miles (60 km)
Total: 493 miles (793 km)
