Shelby Farms Greenway, TN
New day, new state … we crossed over into Tennessee today on our way to a ride we heard about in Mississippi and after 3 hours found ourselves in the east side of Memphis. The Shelby Farms Greenway is described as an urban greenway that was built to encourage the citizens of Memphis to get outside.
We found the trail be in good condition but also fairly busy on the eastern end which took us to Seward, not the Alaskan town. We then decided to ride the other direction to get the full experience and ended up at a community dance performance which is not a normal experience for us. The trikes did attract some attention as we were not on the greenway and not wanting too much attention, we headed back towards the van.
