Razorback Greenway, AR
Ever since entering Arkansas, we’d been hearing about the Razorback Greenway. “Best cycling in Arkansas” we had been told several times, so we were anticipating some classic urban cycling.
We started on the southern end of the trail and found ourselves wading through a college campus complete with walkers, cyclists, dogs, scooters, short uphills, street crossings, and lots of obstacles to keep from getting into any cycling rhythm.
This is not really my style of cycling but I did find the number of discarded electric scooters quite fascinating. From what I could tell, one could scan the QR code, pay the fee and scoot until the battery ran out … and then just dump it on the side of the road, under a bridge, or in the trees along the path. Interesting …
We did enjoy the ride but just not that much.
