Prestonburg Passage and Louisville Loop, KY
We woke to another beautiful blue sky and looked forward to a ride on the Prestonburg Passage Trail. We were also joined today by our cousin who drove down from Cincinnati to ride with us.
The Prestonburg Passage is a paved trail with excellent tree cover. It also had a unique feature for a bridge. The designers took an old school bus, cut the top half off and used it as a bridge covering along the trail. I can now say that I’ve cycled through a bus.
Given the shorter first ride, we opted to another section of the Louisville Loop after we drove back to Louisville, KY. We ended up doing a section at the northern end of the trail and enjoyed a nice evening ride before calling it a day.
