Louisville Loop and Adkisson Greenway, KY
Last day in Kentucky so we snuck in two separate rides before heading to another state tomorrow.
After cycling the northern section of the Louisville Loop yesterday, we opted to head to the southern end for this morning’s ride. Although the same trail, the southern end was definitely more hilly with a lot of winding, curving downhills mixed in so the ride warmed us up quite a bit and once we hit the spot where we had stopped last night, we turned around and went back.
We then opted to drive southwest a bit to Owensboro where I spotted another urban trail, the Adkisson Greenway and we enjoyed a shorter evening ride with the setting sun.
With these rides, we concluded some exploration of Kentucky and left a few trails to explore hopefully a different day.
