A short riding day today as we had a major family event that took up the majority of the day. Something about a 40th birthday surprise party. Our short ride, however, was a wonderful way to get things going. 

But, lucky me, we did get back in time for a second ride before dark. Same path, same great cycling but a great way to end the day as well.
