Lexington Legacy Trail, KY
So … the credit card issue. Once we arrived at the hotel I contacted the towing company who then got me in touch with Tow Truck Ryan who stopped his truck and a thorough search. No luck.
In the morning I was able to contact the small convince store who did have my card. Panic averted so we decided to cycle the Lexington Legacy Trail which I had heard about from a YouTube cyclist.
The Legacy Trail is a paved urban path that slowly leads you north out of Lexington to the Kentucky Horse Park along the Highway. The ride was nice, the horse park was actually closed but that worked well for us as we were able to tour some of the statues of famous horses without the throngs on people. A quick ride back to the new van and then the few hours of driving back to retrieve the credit card before we headed towards Prestonburg for the night ready to cycle the next day.
Somewhat of a backwards loop but we found ourselves back on track.
