Last day, last ride … excellent trip. 

We spent the night with yet another set of old friends from Alaska. Dave and I were both stationed in Alaska with the Air Force. We ended up staying up quite late reminiscing about those days and the crazy amount of responsibility that were placed in the hands of such young kids. 

Today’s ride was simply a neighborhood ride on a close green belt. Have I mentioned the flat tires?  Was greeted with one more today that simply didn’t want to path very well and it lost air again 6 miles later. Sigh … took it as a signal to pack the trikes, pack our gear and head to the airport. 

We’ve never flown out of Love Field before but will never go back to Dallas Ft. Worth as Love Field is much smaller and a whole lot more suitable to these Alaskans. 

The flight back was normal, easy, and during the day hours … perfect way to end the trip.
