Bert Cooper Trails, OK
City riding is always a bit of a mystery as visitors don’t always know all the connectors and shortcuts. But today we were suitably impressed with the trails in Oklahoma City.
We started on the Northside with a ride around a man-made lake which then connected to another trail heading south which eventually took us to the river which bisects Oklahoma City. The riding was all on well maintained bike paths and we encountered quite a few other folks out enjoying the Saturday ride.
When we arrived at our turn-around pint, we simply followed the paths back to the car. A lot more exploration could happen around this area but we needed to keep moving forward in order to get to our last state on this tour.
