Day ride around Seattle

Beautiful weather today with sunshine, temperatures in the 70s, light winds. Toured around Seattle by bike today with one of my hosts and one of his friends. We took the passenger ferry across from Kingston on the Kitsap Peninsula.  The ferry is very comfortable and has awesome bike racks.

We walked through Pike Place Market. What a great place that was!

This is Bill’s friend David. He toured us through areas of Seattle that were off the beaten path.

At the Gum Wall. ABC gum = already been chewed. Really kind of gross.

We also rode to the REI flagship store. What a fun place that was! I bought fuel for my Jetboil and a couple other items. Getting all set!

Today's ride: 21 miles (34 km)
Total: 41 miles (66 km)
