8/18/19 - Gold Beach to Harris State Park
Nice ride today with some great views. A favorite spot was where we stopped for our picnic lunch at Arch Rock.
Harris Beach is a very nice state park with a spacious hiker biker area that isn’t up a hill. They even had a bike path off 101. Our last state park in Oregon. What great experiences they have all been.
Turns out we met back up with Veronica and Mike at Harris Beach since they took a rest day. Julie and Clair (from France) are also here tonight. So it feels like old home week even though we are newly acquainted. Quite a cold evening so the six of us enjoyed keeping warm around the fire that Mike built.
