7/31/19 - Shelton to Rochester
Today Robb and I said goodbye to our host Carolyn (dang....forgot to take a photo again) and got underway for a longer day. We had been thinking Centralia but this worked out great. Forty-nine miles. Rose is on her way to Seattle and will join us tonight.

Another great weather day for cycling. More truck traffic than I prefer, but we managed. Stocked up on a few groceries at Bailey’s IGA.
Tonight’s hosts in Rochester, Jeff and Barbara, have two acres of land.... plenty of room for our tents and for Rose to pitch her tent later in the evening.
Rose arrived about 9:20 pm after landing in Seattle, reassembling her bike, using various regional bus transits, and cycling the final 14 miles to catch up to our location. Here is our “campground” on Jeff and Barbara’s property. The cool night air was nice.
