A flood, some bridges under construction, sewer line work detours, etc.

The Ohio to Erie Trail Organization website doesn't seem to be updated very often, but it did recently mention "Flooding along trail in Cuyahoga National Valley Park" which caught my eye.

This section of our route appears to be a tad damp.

Then, in response to post I made on the BikeForums website, "KarmaJack" helpfully pointed out that several trail bridges were closed due to construction and wouldn't reopen until June.

While researching those closures, I noticed another interesting update towards the end of our first day route from Cleveland to Akron:

Not just floods, but flooded sewer construction sites...

One week before we start pedaling, the 10 day forecast for Akron is pretty much giving us coin flip chances.

The weather guessers are always wrong, but rarely in a good way.
