Day 75 - Salmon river canyon

Cycled from Grangeville to Riggins today, much of it along the Salmon river. Huge fishing and rafting location 

Had an 800 foot climb out of Grangeville, saw these neat birdhouses along the way

Route 95 connects Grangeville and Riggins. My route was on old route 95 which has a lot of switchbacks and absolutely no traffic

This is the sign on route 95 just before I made the turn off for old route 95. Three runaway truck ramps!

My wife (a geologist) would never pass this up so I didn’t. The site talked about how the Salmon river carved the canyon
