Day 73 - Through the valley
Today was a mostly downhill ride from Lochsa lodge to Lowell and a little hotel called the Wilderness Inn. The ride was beautiful through the Lochsa river valley with towering fir and cedar trees on both sides. Hard to capture the scene

George (Buddy) HallI sated at Ryan's Wilderness Inn in 2015 on my Transam ride. It would have looked considerably different at that time due to the forest fires; you may find the following page interesting by comparison; https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/buddy/day-52-fires-force-an-unscheduled-rest-day-water-is-precious-and-the-smoke-gets-heavy/ I'm enjoying your journal and reliving the memories, best of luck for the remainder of your adventure.
