Just before Florence I passed the maximum security federal prison known as Supermax. Famous inmates include:

  • Ted Kaczynski - unabomber
  • Robert Hanssen - Russian spy
  • Dzhokhar Tsarnaev - Boston Marathon bomber
  • El Chapo - Mexican drug lord
  • Timothy McVeigh - Oklahoma City bomber
  • Eric Rudolph - Atlanta Olympics bomber
  • A huge list of terrorists
