Day 13 - Fatigue

Today was only 48 miles but my legs felt tired. The previous two days were 67 each with over 5,000 feet of ascent each day. This took its toll and I am tired. Might do a zero day or short day tomorrow, see how I feel in the morning

This is Jerry from the Netherlands. He flew to the states with his bike and is doing the Transamerica

There is no bottle/can return law in Kentucky so I am not sure where these are headed

Keith AdamsPerhaps some good citizen is simply cleaning up the roadsides and taking them to a recycling center, if such a thing exists in the area.

George CastlePerhaps your legs were the blasting zone ? Looks like a pretty decent spot to apply some liniment

Steve ClarkAgree with Elizabeth. Looks like a good place to reflect on and absorb your accomplishments so far. Wish they had a local masseuse to pummel your legs.

Take care of that body, my friend.

Keith AdamsQuite the stately and elegant-looking establishment. After two weeks and all that climbing you're definitely due for a break- that looks like a great place for it.

Nancy GrahamGood to rest you AND your trusty bike. Your Dollar Store collection does increase by the day, and sometime twofold. I find it an interesting collection!
