Day Twelve Bairnsdale Rest Day
Not much going on but Mary will no doubt write more later.
The caravan park cabin had an induction cooktop. Those of you readers who have one of these at home would have no trouble but we struggled when it was time to cook our morning oatmeal. We googled the brand and model on our tablet and found a couple of Youtube videos but even with that help we had to capitulate and ask the park manager for assistance ! We struggled again the next day but managed to overpower it eventually and cook our breakfast: we discovered that we had not pushed down the dial hard or long enough ! Fortunately there was also a microwave that we used to heat our packaged supermarket meals the first night.
We had dinner the last night at the Indian Restuarant next door to the caravan park. The decor had changed since our last visit, from mainly red to mainly green, but the food was as good as we remembered it from past stays in Bairnsdale.
