Surat Thani to Don Sak

After visits to Surat Thani's night markets, we spent the night at My Place and left this morning, after a moderate breakfast (it is somehow almost always like that when it is offered in the accommodation 🙄) direction Don Sak.
The first thirty kilometers were great. Although now and then on the highway, but otherwise we turned corners about twenty times and each time it was a bit different.
The last kilometers were not so great. Rather monotonous.
This may also be influenced by the again cloudy sky.
In between again drizzling rain and at the end we just got wet.
The weather forecast is not so great for the area that we actually wanted to cycle from here (direction Nakhon Si Thammarat and then over to Trang).
Therefore, we briefly thought it through and rescheduled.
We go tomorrow via (probably) Kho Phangan with the ferry back to Chumphon and from there towards Bangkok. Even though we cycled that bit already - it is still partly one of the nicest routes to take - so why not?!
If we had half a year or a year time, like so many who cycle around here, we would pull it through. But so our time is too precious for stupid clouds.
So, off to the ferry tomorrow 🤷♀️😁👍🏼

Nach Besuchen auf Surat Thanis Nachtmärkten haben wir die Nacht im My Place verbracht und sind heute morgen, nach mäßigem Frühstück (ist irgendwie fast immer so, wenn es in der Unterkunft angeboten wird 🙄) Richtung Don Sak aufgebrochen.
Die ersten ca dreißig Kilometer waren großartig. Zwar ab und zu am Highway, aber ansonsten sind wir ca zwanzig mal abgebogen und jedesmal war's ein bisschen anders.
Die letzten Kilometer waren eher nicht so toll. Eher eintönig.
Mag auch durch den wiederum wolkenverhangenen Himmel beeinflusst sein.
Zwischendurch wieder Fisselregen und zum Ende sind wir einfach nass geworden.
Die Wetterprognose ist nicht so doll für den Bereich, den wir eigentlich noch fahren wollten (Richtung Nakhon Si Thammarat und dann rüber nach Trang).
Daher kurz nachgedacht und umgeplant.
Wir fahren morgen über (vermutlich) Kho Phangan mit der Fähre zurück nach Chumphon und von da aus Richtung Bangkok.
Hätten wir ein halbes oder ein Jahr Zeit, wie so viele, die hier rumfahren, würden wir es durchziehen. Aber so ist uns unsere Zeit zu kostbar für doofe Wolken.
Also, ab auf die Fähre 🤷🏼♀️😁👍🏼
