Prachuap Khiri Khan to Khlong Wan

After spending last night at the Prachuap Grand Hotel, we were allowed to have our breakfast there today.
And I must say, that was the most absurd breakfast buffet we have ever seen.
Sausages, rice, salad and such things - all good.
But the first thing you run up to when you enter the restaurant is a huge counter with countless plastic tins holding prepackaged candy.
Little Oreos, seaweed snacks, chips, foam sugar stuff, ...
After this colourful hodgepodge, we cycled about 12 km to Khlong Wan, where we booked ourselves into the beautiful Sea Sand House Resort.
Absolutely gorgeous 🥰🥰🥰
Large room, about 20 meters from the beach.
This is small, but we have it to ourselves - just like the in-house pool.
Now we lie on our little terrace between pool and beach and just listen to the wind and spend the time reading, interrupted only by quick dips in the pool or the sea.
Could be worse 😉
Tomorrow is Chinese New Year - and also here the lighting of firecrackers is already on.
But not only single loud firecrackers - but approximately two meters long ribbons on which one China firecracker is attached behind the next and which generate after ignite a two-minute machine gun roar.
There I say once "bye bye year of the tiger, welcome year of the rabbit".
Happy celebrations of the new year for all of you - our wheels are decorated accordingly to the occasion.
Tomorrow we go on to Ban Krut...
Nachdem wir die letzte Nacht im Hotel verbracht haben, durften wir heute dort unser Frühstück zu uns nehmen.
Und ich muss sagen, das war das absurdeste Frühstücksbuffet, das wir jemals gesehen haben.
Würstchen, Reis, Salat und so - alles gut.
Aber das erste, worauf man zu läuft, wenn man das Restaurant betritt, ist eine riesige Theke, auf der zahllose Plastikdosen stehen, die abgepackten Süßkram enthalten.
Kleine Oreos, Algensnacks, Chips, Schaumzuckerzeugs, …
Nach diesem bunten Allerlei ging es rund 11 km bis Khlong Wan, wo wir uns im wunderschönen Sea Sand House Resort eingebucht haben.
Absolut traumhaft 🥰🥰🥰
Großes Zimmer, ca 20 Meter vom Strand entfernt.
Dieser ist zwar klein, aber wir haben ihn für uns alleine - genau so wie den hauseigenen Pool.
Jetzt liegen wir auf unserer kleinen Terrasse zwischen Pool und Strand und hören einfach dem Wind zu und lesen.
Könnte schlechter sein 😉
Morgen ist chinesisches Neujahr - und auch hier wird schon kräftig geböllert.
Nicht etwa einzelne laute Kracher.
Ca zwei Meter lange Bänder, an denen ein China-Böller hinter dem nächsten angebracht ist und die nach entzünden ein ca zweiminütiges Maschinengewehrgetöse erzeugen.
Da sag ich mal "tschö Jahr des Tigers, willkommen Jahr des Hasen"
Feiert alle schön mit - unsere Räder sind dem Anlass entsprechend geschmückt.
Morgen geht's weiter nach Ban Krut…
