Day 4; boat drinks!
(Actually, just a ride on the Provincetown fast ferry)
The day began early with quite a few swears, navigating the bikes down three levels of steep winding stairs. Facing Monday morning drivers, we remained cycle touring survivors. Finding an Au Bon Pain to get a egg bacon cheese something, we encountered a security guard who told us “no bikes” and kicked us out of the building.

We caught the ferry at 8 o’clock at the Boston seaport dock. As soon as they yelled, “Anchors aweigh!” It was a 90 minute trip over the bay. We headed out of town rather quick and picked some food for a beach picnic.

We checked into our room at 1:00 and then walked down to the center of the very artistic Provincetown. Many tourists were about and crowding the streets, having afternoon coffee and snacking on sweets. Nearing mid-afternoon they started to scurry so they could catch the late afternoon ferry.
Today's ride: 12 miles (19 km)
Total: 153 miles (246 km)
