Kaiteriteri
A totally idle day
Today was the day off in the middle of the ride to enjoy what Kaiteriteri has to offer. We had intended to take a boat trip into the National Park but all the ones we explored involved considerable walking- impossible for me at the moment so we decided to just poke around here
It is still very early in the season here so things are quiet at the moment and it is very relaxing. There is a large recreational area for campers which also has cabins and appartments. No high rise hotels are permitted here and the restaurant, bar, shop,boat hire, bike hire etc are all single story. Every scrap of accommodation is already booked for the summer period. We just spent the day lazily strolling about, eating and reading. Here are a few photos of what we saw
