Paradise: So close and yet so far.
Perhaps it is fitting that there is no lodging in Paradise. Is paradise actually a feeling or state of mind? Not an actual location?
I did find two different lodging spots close to Paradise. One was too expensive, the other was already booked for a wedding. Unable to secure lodging in the area shifted our route direction. We will have to come back to Montana another time. Trip reviews on Hwy 200 here on CG were highly complimentary.
Pete pointed out to me that we were also riding close to Poison, and that might also apply after 30 years of marriage. So true - marriage has plenty of ups and downs.
Edit: It is a sad edit to note that it is not Poison, but Polson with an L. I am leaving the comment in just because it's a true statement that 30 years of marriage has both blue skies and rain clouds.
So. We are near Paradise, but not actually going there . . . . .
