11-14 April Pau
In reality I have bugger all to say about Pau other than it looks lovely, has some nice cafes and restaurants, nice ice cream and a couple of decent bars. I arrived to glorious sunshine and heat. Had a walk, ate an ice cream, had a couple of beers and took "home" a nondescript takeaway.
I then woke up to rain and more rain. Took a another walk and felt sleepy over a route planning coffee so went home. Slept for about 3 hours whilst it rained. Then I shopped for something to cook, took it home, cooked, ate and it rained. Went to bed watching a multitude of things on Netflix.
Woke up, it rained, went for a wet walk and caught up in local demonstrations about something. Looked up museums and other things to do when it rained to discover they were closed due industrial action (local demonstrations explained). It rained. Watched more Netflix, it rained, went to bed.
Woke up, tidied, grumped about the dishwasher packed and left.
